Unlocking Potential: A Guide to Using cPanel and WHM Panel with Your VPS

cPanel’s WebHost Manager is a web application that allows administrative control of a virtual private server or dedicated server, including account creation, domain addition, hosting feature management, and MySQL database management.

cPanel

a) License Information

A cPanel license is not included and must be purchased directly from cPanel, or you can contact our technical support for help.

b) Login

Once your VPS is running with cPanel or WHM, you can access WHM or cPanel.
WHM details
  • Login URL via HTTP: http://your_vps_ip:2086
  • Login URL via HTTPS: https://your_vps_ip:2087

The default login details are as follows:

  • Username: root
  • Password: your root password

cPanel details

  • Login URL via HTTP: http://your_vps_ip:2082
  • Login URL via HTTPS: https://your_vps_ip:2083

Notes:

  1. Replace your VPS IP with your server’s IP address.
  2. The WHM panel should be used to create the cPanel username and password, with guidance available here.
  3. Accept an untrusted SSL certificate in your browser when accessing the login URL.
