a) How do I create custom blocks in Drupal ?

1. First, navigate to Structure to select Block Layout, then click Custom Block Library (admin/struct/block/block-content) in the Manage administrative menu.

2. Then, click on the “Add Custom Block” button to open the page for creating a custom block.

3. After that, fill in the fields as shown below.

Field name Explanation Example value
Block description Name of the block shown to administrators Hours and location block
Body Content of the block when it is displayed Open: Sunday, 9AM to 2PM, April to September<br/>Location: Parking lot of Trust Bank, 1st & Union, downtime Anytown.

4. Finally, click on the “Save” button, and a message will appear confirming that the block has been saved.
