System administrators may need to completely uninstall Smarter Mail if a server is no longer used as a mail server and they wish to clean up the server and remove Smarter Mail entirely.

a) How do I completely uninstall Smarter Mail ?

1. First, uninstall Smarter Mail from Add/Remove Programs to delete all program files associated with Smarter Mail.

2. Then, delete the Smarter Mail site from IIS, along with its associated application pool.

3. After that, delete the Smarter Mail software folder, typically located in C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterMail.

4. Finally, delete the Smarter Mail data folder, which includes domains, logs, spools, and POP3 retrieval, which is typically located in C:\SmarterMail.
