The cPanel Backup Wizard is a tool designed for non-advanced users to streamline the process of backing up and restoring a cPanel website.

a) How to backup data using the cPanel Backup Wizard

1. Log into cPanel and navigate to the Files section to select Backup Wizard tool or search for the Backup Wizard tool in the search bar.

2. Then, click the Backup button.

3. After that, choose between full or partial backups. Full backups cannot be restored and Partial backups downloaded from the Backup Wizard can only be restored. Download partial backups from Home Directory, MySQL Database or Email Forwarding and Filters.

4. Finally, download the backup according to your preferences.

b) How to restore backup data using the cPanel Backup Wizard

1. Log into cPanel and navigate to the Files section to select Backup Wizard tool or search for the Backup Wizard tool in the search bar.

2. Then, click the Restore button.

3. After that, select Restore Type from Home Directory, MySQL Databases or Email Forwarders & Filters.

4. Finally, upload the backup file and click the “Restore” button to restore the backup.
