Managing Contact Information in cPanel: A Step-by-Step Guide

cPanel allows users to change their system email address, which is used for important updates and notifications. However, it is not possible to use this or any email address linked to your domain to prevent losing important updates during system downtime.

a) How to change your cPanel contact information

1. Log into cPanel and select username on the right corner of the dashboard , then click “Contact Information” button.


2. Then, enter the email address where you want the system to contact you for important notifications.

3. After that, enter a second email address where you can receive a copy of the email sent to your primary email address.

4. Next, the system should send notifications for selected event options that you choose in the Contact Preferences, recommending each checkbox be selected.

5. Finally, click the Save button to save your contact preferences.
