Troubleshooting Outgoing Calls: Smarter Track Communicator Ringing Issues

The error may be caused by a network firewall or DHCP settings on the router. To resolve it, add a STUN server for network address translation. STUN is a protocol used for packet routing behind NAT firewalls or routers. Add the settings to your VoIP account.

a) How do I add settings to VOIP accounts in Smarter Track ?

1. First, log into Smarter Track Management using an administrator account.

2. Then, select “Settings” from the navigation drop-down list.

3. After that, click on “VOIP”.

4. Next, navigate to the VOIP Accounts tab, double-click the agent you wish to edit, or select its name, and click the Edit button.

5. Then, click the STUN tab located at the top of the editing window.

6. After that, the STUN server and STUN port should be filled in.

7. Finally, click the “OK” button to save your changes.

b) How do I use the STUN server with Smarter Track Communicator ?

1. First, in Smarter Track Communicator’s mobile interface, click “Manage” in the top menu and select “Settings“.

2. Then, check the box next to Connect to a STUN server.

3. Finally, click the OK button to save changes and restart Smarter Track Communicator.
