a) Is it possible to choose not to encrypt backups in local storage ?

The feature is currently unavailable in Plesk 12.5, but it may be considered for the next version.

b) Will backup or recovery of incremental backups affect backup performance ?

The backup performance has been enhanced due to reduced data backup requirements, and recovery performance has not been significantly affected.

c) What happens to the incremental backup if I delete the full backup or one of the older incremental backups ?

Plesk deletes all subsequent backups in the chain, resulting in the deletion of backups D and E if one full backup and five incremental backups are deleted.

Note: Plesk will alert you when you attempt to delete a backup.

d) What happens if backup B is lost or corrupted if I have one full backup and three incremental backups ?

Backup C, marked with a yellow exclamation mark icon, will prompt a warning message when restoring it, indicating the name of the missing incremental backup.

e) Are the new database management features available from the command line ?

plesk

Plesk uses standard database tools like mysqldump and mysqlcheck on the backend, so there are no dedicated CLI commands for performing these functions.
