1. First, navigate to the Proxmox website to install it.

b) How do I install the Prox backup server on Debian ?

1. First, enter apt -get update, then enter the apt -get install proxmox-backup-server command to preserve the current (Debian) kernel and install the minimum set of required packages.

2. You can also use the command apt -get update followed by apt-get install proxmox -backup to install all required packages, the ZFS-enabled proxmox kernel, and a set of useful packages.

Note: Proxmox Backup installation on Debian installations requires the correct setup of the base system, local storage, LVM or ZFS, and network configuration, which is largely up to the user.

Note: The Proxmox backup server’s web interface can be accessed via a web browser via HTTPS port 8007.
