Appointing New Technical Contact for .MY Domain

The Technical Contact is an authorized person-in-charge to modify your .my domain including add, remove, or change nameserver. You can follow these steps to change the technical contact.

1.  Login to MyNIC SELFCARE portal.
2. Enter your login details and click Sign In.
3. Enter your domain name and click on Search button.
4. Make sure the role of Technical is highlight and click Manage on the same line of the domain name.
5. Click Edit next to the Technical contact details and Save it for updates. An email notification will be sent to you related to the changes.
   
   If you wish to appoint WebServer as the Technical Contact, below are the contact details needed
   First Name: Alfred
   Last Name: Lim
   Organization Name: ACME COMMERCE SDN BHD
   Address Line 1: V02-07-07, Lingkaran SV
   Address Line 2: Sunway Velocity
   Postcode: 55100
   Town: Kuala Lumpur
   State: WILAYAH PERSEKUTUAN
   Country: MALAYSIA
   Email: domreg@secure-webhosting.com
   Mobile Number: 03-27702833
6. Next, go to Appoint Technical tab, mark a Tick at the front of the respective domain name and click on Continue.
   
   
7. Then, you may need to fill up the below details
   If you wish to appoint WebServer as the Technical Contact, below is the contact details
   Name: Alfred Lim
   Email: domreg@secure-webhosting.com
   Re-enter the email address

   

   

   

8. The appointee may accept an invitation to be your domain’s Technical Contact within 3 days. Kindly contact the appointee to carry out the modification of the nameserver accordingly.

The pointing new technical contact may be failed if the appointee did not accept the invitation within 3 days. You may required to re-do the pointing new technical process.
