Please be informed that effective Monday, December 03, 2007, Telekom Malaysia Berhad had implemented a new system in their effort to combat spam. TM had basically blocked OUTBOUND Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) traffic or port 25 for all out going e-mails from DYNAMIC IP ADDRESSES. As such, users who are currently using any mail clients (e.g. Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) and TMNet connetions would be affected whereby emails could not be sending out.

How do you know which mail version are you using?
(i) Enter “mail.yourdomainname” without quotes at your Internet Browser. You would see a web based mail in which the mail version would appear.
We trully regret for the inconvenience caused above as again this new system had been implemented by Telekom Malaysia Berhad.
