Reseller newsletter. The intention of this newsletter is to keep you updated on the latest happening at WebServer.com.my
As we grow for the past 5 years, our success and improvement is very much depended on your valued feedback and suggestions. Some of the latest updates in respond to these suggestions include:
Latest Improvement:
01. We are now hosting our shared, dedicated and co-located servers at 3 different data center, namely in Data Center 1 at MTDC, Serdang, Data Center 2 and Data Center 3 at Cyberjaya, Selangor.
02. Our facilities above are currently hosting more than 120 servers, over 4,500 domains from about 45 countries.
03. Three of our servers for Application hosting plan has been upgraded to using the Dual Xeon 2.0Mhz processors with 4GB RAM on proven Intel chassis. We shall be adding a new server for Application hosting clients in Q4/03. We also look forward to have Cold Fusion MX in the new server. Application hosting plan remain as our most preferred hosting plan.
04. With the growing sites hosted at our facilities, we have added two more nameservers. We are now having five nameservers.

05. Additional dedicated smtp servers for mail distribution has been setup to accommodate the increased mail delivery traffics.
Hosting services:
06. On top of our Windows based mail server, we are now also offering Linux based email server. Our latest dedicated e-mail server runs on Dual Xeon processors on Intel Chassis. All e-mail servers are now equipped with anti-virus and anti-spamming features.
07. Optional passive secondary email service for all clients for greater reliability.
08. Optional to include MS SQL and MySQL into Basic Hosting plan.
09. Optional to purchase Bulk E-mail service for mail blasting service.
10. We are offering double the space of all our hosting plans, namely 80MB for Budget, 200MB for Basic, 300MB for Premium and 500MB for Application Hosting Plan (please refer table)
11. Premium Hosting plan price has been re-adjusted from RM1,188
(USD315) to RM1,200 (USD319) per annum.
12. Basic Hosting Plan price has been reduced from RM790
(USD210) to RM600 (USD159) per annum (note: discount structure is now standardised from 20% to 50%)
13. We are now a partner for WebNIC, an ICANN Accredited registrar. .CN (China) domain name are now available for registration.

15. Introduction of up to outright 50% discount for all
shared hosting plans on our new Reseller Prepaid System
(RPS). (please refer table)
16. Reseller can now aggregated their discount structure for all shared hosting plans.
17. Domain parking in now FREE.
18. FREE domain name booking is also available for .com.my.
19. FREE automated domain name and hosting service renewal reminder for 32 days, 16 days, 7 days, 5 days, 3 days and 1 day prior to the service expiry. Kindly keep up update of your email account to enjoy this free service.
20. Optional private label nameserver for Reseller who subscribe to our Reseller Prepaid System (RPS) (e.g. ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com)
